A) Removing a User Account using Settings
Click on the Start Button and open Settings. Choose Accounts and there in the left pane select Family & other users. Then choose a user account that you want to delete from the right pane and click on Remove.When prompted for confirmation by the User Account Control (UAC), select YES.
Then confirm with a click on Delete account and data.
B) Deleting a User Account using Control Panel
Press the Windows + X hotkey or right click the Start button. Then select Control Panel, find Manage another account and click on the link.When prompted for confirmation by the User Account Control (UAC), select YES.
Now you can select the Windows 10 user account that you want to delete.
Click on Delete the account.
If you want to delete that User Account but keep all its files, you will have to click on Keep Files, otherwise, if you want to delete everything, just click on Delete Files.
Finish the procedure with a click on Delete Account.
C) Removing a User Account using Local Users and Groups
Press the Hotkey Windows + R and type lusrmgr.msc to open Local Users and Groups. Click on Users in the left side bar and find your the user account that you want to delete.Right click on your desired user and click on Delete.
Finish with on Yes to permanently delete the user together with its unique identifier and all user data.
D) Deleting a User Account using Netplwiz
Press the Hotkey Windows + R type netplwiz and hit Enter. Make sure that the option Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer is checked. Click on the user that you want to delete then click on Remove.Click on Yes.
E) How to remove a Windows 10 User Account with the Command Prompt
Press Windows key + S and type cmd. Right click on the result and click on Run as administrator. Type net users and press Enter.To remove any user account, you have to type the following command:
net user “UserAccount” /delete
You can use the command to also remove any registered domain:
net user “DOMAIN” /delete /domain
You only need to substitute UserAccount with the name of the domain you want to delete.
